That sound you hear is Taylor Marsh & Co.'s heads exploding

Clinton got her 24 extra delegates and moved the goalposts to 2,118 delegates.

Adamonis-

I am DONE with DNC, finished. Nobody suppresses my vote. McCain here I come.

BlackManNot4Obama-
she does not have the most members! Please do some research!

Joao-
She has 12. He has 8. Maybe you need to do the research

typicalWP-
One person = one-half vote. What sell outs. Even slaves were worth three-fifths.

Wyntre-
I'm gonna throw up. Michigan also being allocated according to Waffle's wishes.I'm resigning from the Dem party on Monday. I have had it. This was rigged from the beginning. So Waffles gets delegates that never voted for him. Ickes caving again.

pkmkt-
mccain has the same health care plan as obama

texasdemocrat-
amazing: black people voting to give themselves 1/2 vote. There is no nice way to put this: did they forget they used to be only 3/5? Do they not know their own history?

Wow. Burn in hell, you bastards.

Ginaswo's constitution

Ginaswo-

OBAMA IS NOT ENTITLED TO ANY HRC DELS PERIOD
73-55NOT 64-64NOT 68-55
THEY CANT 'GIVE' AWAY HER DELS
IT IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL IT IS UNDEMOCTRATIC
IT IS BAD ENUFF THEY ARE READY TO GIVE IM UNC HE DIDNT EARN

How quickly they turn on you

So the RBC meeting is currently underway. Jon Ausman proposed a plan to reinstate half of Florida's delegation while giving superdelegates a full vote. Let's see what Taylor Marsh's maniacs have to say about this:

birdie-
Ausman is AWESOME! His logic is impecable and he's not mincing words.

So naturally, when Rep. Robert Wexler, speaking for the Obama campaign, endorses Ausman's plan, Marsh's maniacs would agree to it, right?

IronMan-
Wexler is saying the following:"Only count 1/2 the votes so Obama can try and steal the election."

votehillary08-
ausman=dis-unity

Oops.

A sobering question

Via Taylor Marsh

Diamond-

Have any of you political prodigies thought about what would happen if Hillary took this to the convention and won?

Sarainitaly-

I belive she will win

Bridget21-

SHE WILL BE THE PRESIDENT!!!

Taylor Marsh displays some semblance of sanity

Taylor Marsh-
Those are not and never have been "the rules," Scan. Just like the general election is decided on electoral votes, not the popular vote, so it is with the Dem. primary being decided on delegate count, not the popular vote. Don't shoot the messenger. This is just a fact.

Dem Librulz is Commies!

Dave-

Oh my, Nancy Pelosti now decides all for the Democratic Party. It is starting to sound more and more like the Communist Party to me. The party bosses will tell you what you should do. I can't believe everyone is stupid enough to take another one of Obama's apologies for what goes on in his church. What happened to fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Terrible News for Democrats

Turns out Buchenwald was "just" a slave labor camp.

Assholes.

Petition to vote against Obama in the general

Yep, a petition of 3500 Clinton supporters who plan on voting against Obama in the general.

And I found a gem:

3,146: 9:57 am PDT, May 28, Dipshit McHillbot, New York It MUST BE HILLARY!! Bill needs NEW INTERNS TO RAPE!! HE'S TIRED OF THE OLD ONES!!

Things that make you go hmm... are you fucking kidding me?!

Michelle Malkin recently raised concern over a photo of Rachel Ray in a Dunkin Donuts commercial. Apparently, the scarf she is wearing is an international symbol of jihad. Or something.
Dunkin Donuts, in response, does what any logical business would do. They told Michelle Malkin to fuck off They pulled the ad.

Stop checking out Donna Brazile's behind!

MVsprings-
God only knows why they [the Democratic Party] chose the nuclear option [stripping FL and MI of their delegates] first. Time to undue it and right their terrible wrong. It's difficcult for these clowns to admit their grave error. They can't hide behind Donna B's big butt anymore.

Look at these feminists go!

Bullshit Statement of the day

"The fairness of those elections [Michigan and Florida} and their results are not and never have been in dispute. The validity of those elections have never been in doubt."

A sign that it's time to suspend your presidential campaign

People are drawing comparisons between your campaign and Terri Schiavo:

Dreggas 8:46pm-

At what point do we finally begin to realize that this looks like a real Schiavo. You have McCauliffe and Davis going on TV diagnosing Hillary’s candidacy, claiming that since she is still on the trail she is responsive and knows who the people are, all the while her failure to acknowledge the fact she has lost just proves she is brain dead and Bill, much like Schiavo’s parents refuses to accept that.

Funny, That...

Clinton will do very well on Super Tuesday; polls will tighten along the way, but that's to be expected.I've been thinking about the delegate fight and I just don't think it's all that likely that we're going to drag this all the way to the convention. It's quite possible we won't know who the nominee will be until March but, by that point, one nominee will be ahead in the count and the superdelegates, I think, will begin to align rather firmly by then. Something else that can't be discounted is perception; the candidate who will lead in delegates by March will look like a winner and, assuming Clinton will be that candidate, the fact that she will have won most of the large states along the way, thereby giving her a clear advantage with the popular vote, will count for a lot. The same would be true for Obama. I suppose it's possible we'll get to Denver without a nominee, but it's not at all likely, especially since one must assume the DNC will want to get there united behind a single candidate and not still fighting.

---Grey 01.28.2008 - 09:48 am

So, according to Grey, the candidate that lead in delegates in March will be the winner.

Funny when delegates and rules mattered.

So true

How many McCain points have you saved up?

sam-

You know I am just overwhelmed by how conservatives are coming out to defend
Hillary, while the liberals are the ones trying to take her down. Every news station I watch, whenever they have conservative and liberal strategists, the liberals ones always try to burn Hillary at stake, while the conservatives make a strong argument for her. Its truly an unbelievable world. Look at the anchors on tv, Joe and Greta are conservatives who actually support her and love her tenacity. You know becoming a republican might not be so bad after all.

Oh sam, you make it soo appealing to join a party that misled us into an endless war, lied to us, politicized the DoJ, and stole a few elections from us.

I'll pass, thank you.

The only "gift" you deserve...

Shtuey-

No matter how much they beg, millions of us will proudly vote against Pampers if he's the nominee. Some people will just never understand. Now most people, if they walked out of their house, and 3 out of 4 times they got hit in the head with a bucket of dung, would probably just stay inside. But there's always the few who will never get it. I guess you have to admire their stick-to-itiveness.

Maybe they'll start sending us gifts.

....is a McCain presidency. And maybe something having to do with dog excrement.

My precioussssss... Hillary

Die for Hillary-
ITS NOT ABOUT ME , NOT ABOUT HIS DAUGHTERS ITS ABOUT MY HILLARY!!!YOU WONT BE ABLE TO MAKE NICE WITH US OBAMA, NOT AFTER ALL THAT YOU DID TO MY HILLARY !!!

By reading that, you would have thought Obama did something worse than win a hard-fought competition.

Poor Hillary.

Clinton's chickens are coming home to roost

Most of Clinton's supporters can't figure out why people are getting so hot and bothered by Clinton's "assassination" comment. Poor lady was tired, obviously.

I think most of know what she was trying to say, even though it was unfortunately stated. But the fact that the media is blowing it out of proportion like the way Obama's "bitter" comment is ironic for us.

Most Clinton supporters were all too happy that Obama messed up. And some of us are just returning the favor.

Clinton logic: When she says something stupid, it's because she's tired. When Obama says something stupid, he's an incompetent gaffe machine that can't possibly win the general election!

Republican Talking Points-- as regurgitated by Hillary supporters

justsaynotoBO-
Unfortunately, people are not in their right mind when it comes to this election. AA's are voting 100% on the basis of race, college students are completely deluded, and their rich, latte-sipping parents have become detached from the realities that working people face in this country.
One issue I have with all these folks is that they keep claiming they held their noses and voted for Kerry, Gore, Mondale, and Dukakis, and yet they're absolutely resolute in voting for McCain. Why is it that these Hillary supporters are completely unwilling to make the exception this time?

I gather that they believe it's really about teaching the DNC a lesson for serving up another unelectable dud, and are willing to vote for McCain even if they don't like him. I believe that this justification doesn't pass the smell test.

We're in the middle of two failed wars, an economy that we haven't experienced the worst of yet, and a whole host of other problems. Even though I personally don't prefer Hillary Clinton and if she were to be the Democratic nominee, I would *never* be willing to pass the baton to John McCain, who has been a cheerleader for the Bush-Cheney policies-- just to teach the DNC a lesson.

So yes, it's something deeper than revenge. It can't be electibility-- saying it's so doesn't make it so. He may not be doing as well among white, blue-collar folks in Appalachia, but he did just fine with the same demographic in rural Nevada, Oregon, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and etc.

It has to do with a black, freshman senator who seems to not have established enough credibility with white people. Do they really think Obama is going to make women wear burkas and listen to his crazy Christian pastor?

But then again, reason has not been a strong-suit of the Clinton campaign or her supporters.

We have a winner in the suck at life contest (okay, a few)

tkk-

Beats me. We are academics and we can't stand him. We think he's a joke. Lots of
academics are Marxist. I wonder if Obama's connections to the Weathermen and the Black Panthers has them titillated. He has said that he'll legalize drugs (?) Other than that, maybe they just like the novelty of a black president.

tHE KIDS VOTE PERSONALITY..THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEYA RE VOTING FOR..PORTLAND TAKES THE STATE USUALLY....EXTREMISTS

Mary Ellen-

Number cruncher I am...here are the facts...Oregon: 26.81% Democratic Turnout Kentucky: 43% Democratic TurnoutIf that's true, Obama's victory in Oregon is insignificant and that's what we need to get out to the pundits tomorrow!Obama can't win in states with large turnout... check it out...

Obama has a crazy Christian pastor but he's still a Muslim

via Taylor Marsh

nokidding- One more thingObama's mindset---on topic

What do the suras say about the role of women in Islam?

Tabari IX:113,

“Treat women well for they are like domestic animals and they possess nothing in themselves.”

Bukhari V3B48N826:

“The Prophet said, ‘Isn’t the witness of a women equal to half of that of a man?’ The woman said, ‘Yes.’ He said, “This is because of the deficiency of a woman’s mind.”

In Response to Bush's Stoopid Comment

Yes: President Bush proclaimed that Democrats are interested in appeasing terrorists in the same manner as Hitler, and did so in front of international community.

A great response from Dan Kervick, a commenter on Matt Yglesias's blog:

Man, whatever happened to all of that storied Republican bravado? It's just stupid and weak to assume that if America's leaders and best diplomats engage in a diplomatic round with Iran's leaders and best diplomats, the Iranian side is bound to emerge as the diplomatic victor. What kind of loser attitude is that? It's much more likely that US diplomacy would succeed in diminishing the prestige of Iranian leaders through diplomacy rather than enhancing it.
The Iranians would come into those talks with a mountain of vulnerabilities, not the least of which is that they are currently saddled with a loose-toungued, holocaust-denying, low-class bumpkin for a president, who is viewed around the world as a bit of a buffoon who doesn't know when to stop running his mouth. And their government is viewed with genuine suspicion by both US friends and neutral parties. With the albatross Bush off of the US neck, and Obama in office, the US would be in the diplomatic driver's seat again. Any moderately skilled and well-prepared diplomatic team will be able to turn the slightest Iranian intransigence into major propaganda gains. We should be able to swing a very sweet deal.

So the way I see it, Republicans are diplomacy pussies. They have so internalized the Bush posture of inarticulate, in-over-his-head ineptitude that they have no guts anymore when it comes to playing to win at the diplomatic gaming table. They've been following a dufus-president who couldn't sell a lollipop to a five year old, and they now assume the whole country is characterized by that kind of weakness. Have some confidence men! And if you can't get it up, just move aside and let some serious people take over.

One of the facts about Barack Obama that is not as well known as it should be is that, according to his friends, he is an excellent poker player.

Clinton's Cult

dug from the cesspool that is Taylor Marsh's blog:

dot48- Hillary will tell them that we need to put a democrat in the white house. However, Hillary can't tell us what to do when we get in the booth.I'm not in toeing the party line .. I'm more into the person. Sorry Waffles, Sweetie, I'm just not into you.

LEL- Sorry, but Bush is right, hussein obama is an appeaser. Hillary should be attacking hussein and not Bush, because hussein is her and our enemy. At the very least, she should have made no response to Bush's remark. After all the backstabbing, nastiness and viciousness the democrats and hussein supporters have hurled at her, Hillary obviously still intends to shill for the party. That's very disappointing.

Not So Stoopid Comment

Via Anderson Cooper

Lloyd in TX- The Clintons pick-up another uneducated white vote.

Hoping that young people won't vote

HillBillyLover- I live in Oregon. The college towns will go Obama…they are Ashland, Eugene, Corvallis, Portland. I am hoping that since they are so close to finals that the students will space out and forget to mail their ballots.

Secularhumanizinevoluter- Ya know there is historical presidence for this. It's little known today in 1936 Germany there was a small group Der JudeferHitler or Jews for Hitler. Their campaign slogan was Hey, he wants to kill us all...but he'll make the trains run on time!

Ijane- The difference between obama and Clinton other then one having a vagina and the other being a dick, is that Clinton supports a woman's right to choose while Obama supports genocide.BAIPA

-In response to NARAL's endorsement of Barack Obama

The Cult of Clinton

Something I've been amused by during the primary season is how Hillary Clinton's supporters have accused Obama's peeps as exhibiting cult-like behavior. And then you read shit like this...

Ginaswo- RISE HILLARY RISE
HILL IS 44
MADAME PRESIDENT HILLARY CLINTON
BOOYAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rise Hillary Rise?! That's definitely NOT cult-like.

Psst! Your ignorance is showing

Youz SO FUNNIE! LAWLz!
Cfluffy57- NO ARROGANT LOUD MOUTHED MUSLIM PREACHER BOYS - GO HILLARY, SAVE AMERICA. Its time for Odumbo, his loud mouthed preacher and his sea monkey wife to step aside and allow the PATRIOTIC, CHRISTIAN AMERICANS GET ON WITH THEIR ELECTIONS. Enough of the BS from these 3 morons. One is a chronic liar, the other jumps around singing GD America and monkey lady hates Americans and America. He was only allowed in the race as a token. A token what, I have no clue lol lol

Teh Black People are Teh Racist
Bob- Obama is a priveledged Black man representing who? It is fact that he carries 90% + of the black vote. It amazes me that Blacks support a fellow Black who grew up "white". MLK said "Judge a person on his character not the color of his skin". It seems to me that the most racist people in this country are the Black people because they are supporting a man who has very little in common to their experiences and vote for him because he is Black. Well guess waht Black People, if Clinton does not get the Nomination then my vote goes to McCain since he is white. You Black people are so hypocrital it is a shame. Get with the program Black America and judge a person on the person not the skin color. This guy Obama and his racist wife have no clue how to run a country if they can't get by the race issue, shameful.

Maybe this commenter thinks he should go back to Hawaii, where he was born.
Deb- I WILL NEVER VOTE AT ALL IF OBAMA EVEN HAS A CHANCE OF RUNNING OUR COUNTRY, WHY DONT HE GO WHERE HE BELONGS, AND WHERE HIS HEART REALLY IS.....IM NOT READY TO START WEARING THE MUSLIM OUTFITS....AND HAVING NO FREEDOM...GO HILARY, DONT GIVE UP........

I read these goons so you don't have to

From the always entertaining Taylormarsh.com, who has some sort of rule that doesn't allow commenters to use reason.

Criticizing Hillary Clinton= Domestic Violence!
Vinnieb- As I tell many female friends of mine, they don't have to vote for Hillary because she's a woman but they should NEVER allow the media or anyone else to talk about their mothers, their sisters, their daughters like that. It's like domestic violence, you don't tolerate that kind of abuse.

Stay classy, Sisterdo!
Sisterdo- Obama could institute the Cousin Odinga plan for Democracy1 Man-- 5 VP's, 3 steps behind, 1 flag pin per Burka

Rule number 1, before calling out others for sexism, do not imply that someone is being chosen for a job just because of her gender and thus has no other skill going for her:
Mary Ellen- OMG! Kathleen Sebelius????? That woman is a freakin' robot! I saw her sitting in the audience when Obama was at a rally, I think she might have introduced him...she was sitting there practically drooling. It looked like she just had a fresh lobotomy or something! Yeah...she'd be great for tea parties, but could you imagine her running the country if something ever happened to Obama???? This is how he picks his VP, someone who wears a skirt to get the "little missus" vote?

Our neighborhood psychoanalyist:
Gonzotx- Yes, Elizabeth has found some peace i think, see it in the way she speaks, her tone...she knows that if her husband wasn't the one, Hillary is the choice. What ever bitterness was between them seems to have healed. John on the other hand, would probably love to take Hill down. For whatever reason he seems to blame Hill for his demise, instead of the DNCobama love fest, the $ trail, and his own campaign...

Marc Penn, is that you with another brilliant campaign strategy?
Miss Malevolent-
Well, I think it's time for a new bumper sticker for the Obama campaign.Instead of, "Hope and Change!" or "Yes we can!"His new bumper sticker will be, "Any white woman will do!"

A case of broken crystal ball?
Getty1206- Hey..for those of you who follow Michelle White Dove (America's Greatest Psychic..see MichelleWhiteDove.com under her blogs) states that Hillary will be President and John Edwards will be her VP.
